I started collecting penguins 30+ years ago. Of course, fabric with cartoony penguins was perfect for appliques for craft and sewing projects. The blocks were made but set aside due to lack of time to finish a wall hanging or a child's quilt. Now it seemed the best use was a quilt top for our church quilters.
